"Gone Mappin'" Cruising through Down Town Tampa!

SurvTech Solutions is thrilled to announce the Hydrographic Surveying Department's newest vessel – the 2023 21' Lifetyme Cabin Work Boat, affectionately named "Gone Mappin'". As our hydro department continues to expand, this investment represents our commitment to providing cutting-edge technology and resources to our team of experts.

"Gone Mappin'" is not just a boat; it's a platform designed to excel in hydrographic surveying tasks. With a second Norbit iWMBS system at our disposal, this boat empowers our team to carry out various tasks, making it a versatile tool for multiple projects. The boat's deck space and specially installed Davit make deploying survey equipment a breeze, enabling us to efficiently work with tow fish, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs), and other essential tools for comprehensive data collection.

Marine Mobile LiDAR Abilities

The boat's thoughtful design doesn't stop there. Equipped with a side access door and a dive ladder on the back deck, "Gone Mappin'" guarantees easy access for divers, streamlining underwater inspection and exploration tasks.

Our new boat significantly enhances our capabilities, allowing us to undertake an extensive array of hydrographic projects. These include:

- Multi-beam Bathymetry

- Single-beam Bathymetry

- Single Beam Dual Frequency Bathymetry

- Side-scan Sonar

- Interferometric Sonar

- Marine Mobile LiDAR

- Marine Mobile Imagery (360°)

- Underwater Video

- Sector Scan Sonar (Mesotech)

- Sub-bottom Profiling

- Marine Magnetometry

- Marine Seismic Surveys

- Marine Geophysical Surveys - Boomer & Pinger Systems

- Marine GPR Surveys

- Underwater Imagery

This boat opens up a world of possibilities for underwater mapping and analysis. From seafloor mapping to marine archaeology environmental assessment to infrastructure inspection, the capabilities of "Gone Mappin'" are limited only by our imagination.
